The Message Makeover Podcast: The Most Powerful Woman in the Room, with Lydia Fenet

Welcome to the latest episode of The Message Makeover Podcast. Recently, Kendra and I shared a conversation with Lydia Fenet about the art of persuasion, and the ways to command attention in every room you walk into.

Lydia is a Managing Director at Christie’s in New York City, and is the most prominent charity benefit auctioneer in the country. To date she has raised more than $500 million for charitable causes. She is also the author of The Most Powerful Woman in the Room is You, which was published in 2019. Lydia travels around the country to speak to corporations and groups on the art of selling.

In our interview with Lydia, we discuss the huge importance of knowing your audience before you speak, hints and tips on how to capture and hold attention, and other insights that will help you persuade and communicate more powerfully. We hope you enjoy this episode of The Message Makeover, and we encourage you to pick up a copy of Lydia’s book. She knows what she’s talking about!
